About myself 🙂
I always considered myself a shy person and since I was a child I had been told to “not make noise” so in my eagerness to “not bother” I have found many contradictions in my musical life, as you can imagine.
Despite having doubts in me, fears or mistrust of my talent, I have won several contests, such as the first contest in La Huella de Tu Voz (2014) or the first prize as a singer in the progressive rock band Ataraxia. I can also say that my flamenco jazz group MOMOAMA is in the only encyclopedia of flamenco jazz that exists in the world and my name appears next to names like Jorge Pardo or Chano Dominguez, something I was proud of and something I never thought would be possible!
I hope you have enjoyed this article as much as I have enjoyed making it for you. We know that music is a powerful tool for female empowerment and learning the stories of the women we admire is absolutely fascinating.
